Dear Students, Staff and Parents,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! It is our commitment at Smith River School to provide a safe and challenging environment that will empower students to become thinkers, problem solvers and learners prepared to take on the twenty-first century.
We have high standards and expectations for each of our students in regard to academic performance. It is the ability of our students to be involved in everything the school and community offers that makes Smith River such a great place to be a student.
We want to partner with you in your child's education. We want you to feel welcome in our school and encourage you to volunteer and attend our parent nights and other activities. Feel free to drop in at the office to talk with us about volunteer opportunities or any concerns you may have.
This is going to be a great year! I look forward to partnering with you and and want to thank you for entrusting us with your child.
