"Equipping Students for Success"

  • Text Message Scam

People have received text messages from scammers posing as District staff, asking them to purchase gift cards or respond to a text. These messages are not legitimate and are a scam.

  • Yesterday afternoon one of our buses in Klamath was involved in a minor traffic incident. A non-district vehicle unexpectedly entered the traffic flow, leading to a minor collision with our bus, which at the time, was carrying three students. No students were harmed during this incident.

The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. Immediate action was taken by contacting law enforcement to investigate and informing the families of the students who were on the bus at the time.

Our transportation staff are dedicated to taking all necessary measures to ensure safety on the road, and we would like to also take this opportunity to remind everyone the importance of vigilant driving, especially in school zones and near bus routes. Should you have any questions or would like more information, please contact our Transportation Department at 707-464-0250 or by emailing
