Community Resource Centers

    Please drive safely and in an orderly fashion when approaching these areas. Adhere to all traffic controls. This ensures that everyone can access the resources they need in a timely manner.


    Available Resources:

    • Water: Hydration stations are set up in the community resource centers for water bottle refilling.
    • Ice: Pacific Power has a limited supply of ice available at these centers.
    • Charging Facilities: For general devices and CPAP machines with battery backups.
    • Lactation Area: For nursing mothers.
    • Snacks: Light snacks are available.
    • Restrooms: Port o potties on-site.

    Resource Center Locations and Hours:

    Klamath

    • The Margaret Keating School location is no longer open. Directing the community to the Pacific Power Resource Center at 225 Klamath Blvd.

     

    Smith River Elementary School

    Hydration stations to fill water bottles, water spickets to fill larger containers, charging facilities, and port-a-potties. Services available daily 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

     

    Del Norte High School Parking lot (near tennis courts)

    Water, charging stations, charging capability for CPAP machines that have battery backups, lactation area, light snacks, port-a-potties, coloring books for kids, water hose to fill large water containers. Services available daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. THIS SITE WILL BE REASSESSED after Saturday.

     

    Howonquet Hall

    • Light snacks, water, coffee, charging of small electronic devices. There is one female and one male shower – bring your own toiletries. The center is open to both tribal citizens and non- tribal citizens daily 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Showers are available from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Tribe received a large donation of non-edible ice to keep food and drinks cold. This will be available until gone. Please be courteous and contact (707) 951-7327 with questions or concerns.

     

    Red Cross Fairgrounds Shelter
