  • Title VI Indian Education Program

    The mission of Del Norte County Unified School District's Title VI American Indian Education Program is to support the efforts of local educational agencies, Indian Tribes and organizations, post secondary institutions and other entities to meet the unique educational and culturally related academic needs of American Indian and Alaska Native students, so that such students can meet the same challenging State Student Academic Achievement Standards as all othe rstudents are expected to meet.

     Redwood Coast Indian Career Pathways (RCICP)

    All students deserve a pathway to success.  Our absolute priority is to prepare American Indian students grade 6-12 for college and careers.  Our staff strive to partner with students, teachers and parents because when they all communicate and work together effectively, it can significantly impact each student's long-term success.  We provide the following supports; academic, social emotional, advocacy, transition from 8th grade to high school, college tours, FAFSA assistance, college admission test preparation, scholarship and college/trade school application assistance.
