SATURDAY APRIL 12 - 5:30 - 9:00 PM: A Taste of Japan - Public Fundraiser (tickets $45)

An unforgettable evening filled with food, drink, entertainment, and the inspiration of hope from the story of Kamome. All proceeds benefit Del Norte High School Japan Club's cultural exchange program.

• Art exhibit and local tasting experience for adults (21+), including drinks and snacks
• Japanese-inspired small bites with locally sourced ingredients
• Film Screening of the Kamome documentary
• Auction for Del Norte High School's Japan Club
• Taiko drum performance followed by a bon dance ceremony

• April 11, 5:00 PM: Cardboard boat racing at the Crescent City Pool
• April 11, 7:00 PM: Kamome Festival pre-party at POP South (Harbor)
• April 12, 8:30 AM: Shinrin-Yoku forest bathing experience in the redwoods
• April 12, 10:00 AM: Aikido demo for youth 8 & up
• April 12, 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM: Cultural Center activities: Tea ceremony, bon dance, origami art, calligraphy & more
• April 12, 3:00 PM: Anime movie screening at Crescent City Cinemas
