Dates to Remember
Monday, November 3rd, there will be no school due to a professional development day for all certificated staff.
Hmong New Year
Also in November, you are invited to participate in the Hmong New Year celebration. On Saturday, November 8, kicking off at 10 AM, the Hmong New Year celebration will take place at Crescent Elk! This annual event is an incredible way to honor the past year and welcome new beginnings with family, friends, and neighbors. Celebrate and appreciate Hmong traditions, culture, and history through delicious food, vibrant cultural performances, and a variety of festivities and games. We hope to see you there for a day filled with connection and celebration!
Sports Update
It’s another big week for the Del Norte Warriors as fall sports move into the final stretch of the season. On Tuesday, October 28, Varsity Girls’ Soccer will host Ferndale at Del Norte High School at 4:00 PM. On Wednesday, October 29, Cross Country will compete in Arcata at 4:00 PM, while later that evening, Varsity Boys’ Soccer travels to South Fork for a 6:00 PM match. Also on Wednesday, Varsity Volleyball heads to Eureka to face the Loggers at 7:00 PM in the NCS Division 4 Volleyball Championships – First Round. Tickets for this event are only available online. You can find a link to purchase tickets on the Del Norte High Facebook, and website.
The competition continues Thursday, October 30, with Girls’ Tennis traveling to McKinleyville for a 10:00 AM match. Wrapping up the week, on Saturday, November 1, Warrior Football will take on Eureka at Cal Poly Humboldt—JV kicks off at 5:00 PM, followed by Varsity under the lights at 7:30 PM. The community is encouraged to come out and cheer on our Warriors!
