DNUSD & DNCOE LCAP Information

(This section includes all related plans and documents)

The LCAP is a critical part of California’s Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). It is a three-year, district-level plan that is updated annually. The LCAP describes our school district’s key goals for students as well as the specific actions (with expenditures) that we, as a district, plan to take to achieve those goals, as well as the metrics we use to measure the progress we are making.

The LCAP addresses the needs of all students, including specific student groups. However, the Plan is required to address how we plan on serving and supporting English Learners, foster youth, and socioeconomically disadvantaged students. In the LCAP, these groups are referred to as “targeted subgroups.”

In addition, the LCAP must address the state of California's eight priority areas, which include student academic achievement, school climate, student access to a broad curriculum, and parent engagement.  Our school district’s LCAP has four (Board of Education) approved goals that align with the state’s eight priority areas.
