LTIS Considerations

  • Must enroll before the 6-week progress report period (onboarding at the 5-week mark).

  • Student(s)/families commit to LTIS for a progress reporting time (6th-12th = 6 week progress reporting time or 18 weeks at the semester)

  • Closed enrollment LTIS during specific times in the year: Two weeks prior to grading (Semester and Trimester) system so units, etc. can transfer over

  • Intake meetings will be scheduled by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays at the 5-week mark.

    • At this time, the parent will meet with Mrs. Marshall at the District Office and the LTIS teacher (via Zoom) to go over requirements/expectations.

  • Even if the contract is signed the previous week, the official start date on LTIS will not be until the following Tuesday… students must still attend their school of residence until Tuesday.

  • Not to be used as an interim placement for alternative placement.
