Superintendent's Message to the Community 10-12-2020

The DNUSD Superintendent's Message to the Community will be in written format this week. If you have any questions please email communications@dnusd.org

Key Points:
-As an additional zoom security measure, students have been required to log in to their school zoom account since Tuesday of last week in order to participate in distance learning. While most students experience little to no issues logging in, there are still a few cases where some are experiencing difficulty accessing their accounts. If you are having trouble logging in, please call our Tech Parent Help Hotline at (707) 464-7005

-In order for DNUSD to continue to provide free curbside and delivery meals for all students, make sure your family has filled out the Fair Share form for each of your students. You can find the "Fair Share Form" at DNUSD.org/food

-The Great California ShakeOut is the third Thursday of October (this year: October 15). While COVID-19 has brought many uncertainties and challenges, one thing's for sure: ShakeOut is still happening this year! As always, you can hold your #ShakeOut drill when and where you want. You can find more information at https://www.shakeout.org/california/

-Messaging regarding the DNUSD 100% Distance Learning Program will be sent out this week, we have received many questions regarding enrollment, if you are interested tune in to our Podcast on Friday as well as our Weekly Wednesday Webinar at 1 PM for an update!
