This is a collection of Dr. Bruce Perry's videos, a psychiatrist known for his work in childhood trauma. In these videos, Dr. Perry explains how trauma and stress impact the behaviors, development, and resiliency of children. We encourage you to dive deeper into his work beyond these videos. Although some videos are directed more towards educators, the messages can be applied to all relationships.

Research demonstrates that when teachers establish a true empathetic connection with students, they are able to engage and reengage students in learning and actually heal and grow children's brains. Dr. Perry discusses the important role relationships have in learning and gives us practical ways to do this in the school setting.

Rob Scheer shares his story of triumph over adversity. After experiencing abuse and hardship in the foster care system, Rob adopted four beautiful children out of foster care. When his children arrived with trash bags as luggage, he knew he had to tell his story and create a way to help the over half a million children in foster care.

ReMoved follows the emotional journey of a nine-year-old girl who is taken from her abusive birth home and placed in the tumultuous foster care system. This short film will help foster careers understand the experiences of many children coming from homes of neglect and abuse and the accompanying children's emotions.
